USFS 2016 Scholrship and Grant Appilcation Period Information

Seven U.S. Figure Skating financial aid programs, available to skaters from the pre-preliminary to senior levels and member clubs, launched June 1, 2016. Please note that each application’s criteria and deadline is different:

The Competitive Skaters Assistance Program (CSAP)  All materials due 4:30 p.m. MT on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016.

*The Academic Scholarship Program (ASP). All materials due 4:30 p.m. MT on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016.


*Skaters competing at the pre-preliminary, preliminary, pre-juvenile and juvenile levels are eligible to apply for the:

RISE Youth Essay Contest. All materials due 4:30 p.m. MT on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016.

*The Joyce Komperda Athlete Support Fund. All materials postmarked by Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016.

*The Scholastic Honors Team. All materials postmarked by Friday, Sept. 2, 2016.

*The Elaine Theisen Diamond Ice FSC Fund for Special Olympics and Therapeutic Skating (Elaine Theisen Fund). All materials due Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016.

*The Buch Family Academic Scholarship Award (Fredric Buch Living Trust). Application available here. All materials must be received by Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016.
